HEART TRUTH RED DRESS

This event was a madhouse,it is truly a wonder that someone wasn't crushed or had a heart attack(NICE,RIGHT?)
The photographers were crammed into holding pens(you are in #a,...you go to #b...and wait and wait until forever and until the photographers just pushed their way in knocking each other with booms and steel boxes and ladders and camera's with long, long lens'.The security and the bubble-headed p.r.people just watched it all unfold tsk tsking at it all but not helping to diffuse the situation which was so frustrating---everyone allowed to get so anxious about getting into the event and setting up before it started. It takes so much to complete the "PUZZLE" in which each photographer has a tiny, tiny space for themselves and their equipment....and then has to be out of the range of the most important video camera for the house, then you have to NOT be in the pre-marked space of the most IMPORTANT photographers spot but even that does not always work beacause the runway sometimes is split reducing the viable space by half.It is a nightmare and the waiting becomes a very stressful ,agonizing stretch of time,Tempers flare and sometimes a kind word or gesture would help---but there is usually only dismissal or scarcasm and certainly never any sympathy or help from security or the 7th on 6th staff who seem in awe of their power and control with the most ego-centric attitudes.
This year I learned that in the TRULY HIGH FASHION WORLD of Milan there are 80 photographers,in Paris there are 150 and in N.Y. credentials are given to over 604,just about anyone who can come up with the money I guess---this was told to me by the very disgusted, photographer from ITALIAN VOGUE--the most prestigious of all fashion periodicals(along with Paris Vogue)
There is no thought to comfort or safety for us during fashion week--it is sink or swim or as some put "you can be replaced by an intern.."
