Here is my Renee Zellweger story
I came close to the Magic of Renee when she strolled down the red carpet at the Ziegfield Theatre for the premiere of CHICAGO.There were lots of stars out for this spectacular movie and after we were finished taking shots of Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas we were all primed for Renee. She arrived suddenly from the opposite direction and as she got close to me she looked so darling and amazing I forgot to bring my camera up and as she slowly walked by I said"Oh my God, you are so BEAUTIFUL" She took a few more steps and turned her head around ,looked at me and softly said,"YOU THINK?" I swear to God it was quite unbelievable. A star of her magnitude acknowledging a compliment????

WOW!The following photos were taken at an Old fashioned "HAPPENING" on Broadway,I am thinking they will give everyone an idea of just how special an event this was.In a few days when I calm down I'm going to post photos from the Curtain Call which somehow became available to me.I was so starstruck upon entering the theatre ,it took me forever to realize I was standing in the same row as Steadman and Oprah.Actually as Steadman stood up to escort Oprah to the stage it became clear to me.By that time it was too late to get a photo of them together in the theatre but I am so satisfied with having been part of this triumphant "scene" for her. Someone in the theatre yelled out "All this by the power of Oprah" and her eyes lit up with the acknowledgement.The cast and audience were "one"in appreciation and excitement!
